Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives, challenges, and requirements during service delivery.
  • Proactively identify and address client concerns or issues with in-flight projects and services, working with relevant Client and Partner stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will also be involved in defining and bringing to market additional solutions in fme’s Portfolio.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's products or services, effectively communicate their value proposition, and identify opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Oversee the successful implementation and delivery of projects, managed by the Project Manager, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the necessary quality standards, meeting client expectations. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, products, and delivery to ensure client needs are met and to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to assess satisfaction levels, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the successful implementation and delivery of projects, managed by the Project Manager, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the necessary quality standards, meeting client expectations. 
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders, to help them remain current on Industry trends and standards. 
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project performance, revenue forecasts, and business growth opportunities for management and key stakeholders.
  • Remain up to date with industry developments and best practices, continuously enhancing your knowledge and skills to provide exceptional service to clients.

Supervisory Responsibility
  • This position has overall supervisory responsibility for all onsite project operations.
  • Lead project managers.
  • Lead, coordinate, facilitate, and motivate all associated project resources to gain alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Collaborate and lead a multi-disciplined team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A relevant master's degree is a plus.  
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Life Sciences service industry supporting clients in a direct client-facing role, working for a “vendor-side” consulting company.

  • Proven experience in client relationship management, account management, or a similar role, experienced in working with Clients across international markets, as in managing an internal team of Project Managers and strong consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of the leading technology platforms used by Life Sciences companies, specifically Veeva Vault, is an advantage. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence clients at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and driving client satisfaction.

Travel
  • Some travel to client sites is expected.
